Neurodivergent Adults Art Therapy Group
About This Group
An Art Therapy Group for 'recently realised' or late-diagnosed Neurodivergent Adults
Over the last few years of running Art Therapy Groups at Hospice, I've seen how powerful and helpful they can be, especially when participants have shared lived experience or similar challenges. So, I'm finally launching something I've been thinking about for a long time, and something I would have loved when I was diagnosed a few years ago: an Art Therapy Group for 'recently realised' or late diagnosed neurodivergent folks
This group is for humans who have only recently realised - in the last few years - that they are neurodivergent. It is a neuro-affirming space to explore what that kind of realisation can mean, and unpack and process it together.
Maybe you have a formal diagnosis, maybe you are self-diagnosed, or maybe you don't care about diagnosis at all. Maybe you've tried counselling or therapy before, but traditional talk-therapies never really seemed to feel right. Maybe you're longing for a sense of community. A quiet, embodied sense of belonging. Maybe group therapy is what you've been looking for.
What to Expect
You'll be sent a carefully curated box of all the art materials you will need, and every week we'll meet, share, reflect, create, witness and hold space for each other as we explore themes of identity, self, masking, burnout, relationships, careers and more.
You don't need to be creative or 'good' at art. You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to commit and show up. All you need is a device to join the weekly video call and access to a space where you have privacy and room to create.
Where, When and How Much?
This is a fully-remote group that takes place online from 1-3pm every Saturday for fourteen weeks, starting Saturday 25th July 2026.
The total cost is $1395, which works out at less than $100 per session, or $50 per hour. Payment plans are also available.
The group is capped at a maximum of 8 participants, and places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis, with a waitlist once all places are filled. For this type of group the inter-personal bonds and sense of community and consistency are very important, so a commitment to attend all of the sessions is required.
Please register your interest using the form on the contact page and I'll get back to you within 48 hours.
