Meet Lee
Kia ora, I'm Lee.
I help people to find clarity and balance & achieve meaningful, sustainable growth.
I'm a dad, a maker, a student arts therapist, and a recovering people-pleaser. I live in Tāmaki Makaurau with my partner, our kids and our dog Ludo. I love being outdoors and get outside as much as I can, whether that is hiking, kayaking, running or just taking Ludo out to some of our beautiful west-coast beaches.
My practice is based on curiosity, empathy and trust. My methods are simple, backed by training and experience, and I deliver tangible, practical results with an inclusive and gentle approach; free from shame or judgement. I'm a firm believer in the therapuetic capacity of nature, and the power of creativity as a catalyst for change.
My Qualifications
I am a certified coach with the New Zealand Institute of Coaching, who are accredited by the ICF, and I have over a decade of experience mentoring designers and coaching creatives in a professional capacity. I am currently studying my Masters in Creative Arts Therapy (Clinical), and on the path to becoming a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist as of 2025, and have recently completed specific training on Empowering Autistic Clients - Neuro-affirming Lived Experience informed Autism Training.
My unique background, coaching skillset and professional experience allows me to venture with my clients throughout their entire journey, helping them truly understand the how and the why behind where they currently are, and empowering them as they design and implement a realistic, achievable plan to get to where they want to be.
My Values
- Curiosity is the key that unlocks everything else. All growth and learning starts with curiosity.
- Empathy builds connection and understanding, and makes strong relationships possible.
- Trust is foundational - essential for tackling those challenging conversations and doing the hard mahi.
